Caminhos Latinos
// Overview
In the end of 2020, amid the pandemic, the Pulso Latino collective, in partnership with UNIFESP’s Latin-American Reality Program and Elefante Publishing, developed the podcast series ‘Caminhos Latinos’.
Divided into 13 episodes, the series aims to outline an overview of the recent history and the main social, political, and cultural conflicts of various Latin American nations, with each episode dedicated to a different country.
The program format has 2 parts:
Part 1 - Historical Context
Led by Professor Fabio Luis Barbosa dos Santos from Unifesp, who presents an analysis of the country's contemporary history, addressing crucial moments such as dictatorships, processes of redemocratization, social movements, and economic transformations.
Part 2 - Contemporary Analysis
In this second part, the podcast features an interview with a specialist, intellectual, researcher, or activist from the country discussed. This conversation deepens the recent political landscape.
