Jornada do Whisky
// Overview
Jornada do Whisky is a YouTube channel and Instagram page that shares whisky content aimed at making the drink popular in Brazil with humor and ease. Hosted by Rodrigo Wu, it shows that anyone can start enjoying whisky by exploring its smell, feel and taste but also history, production process and all kinds of knowledge around the theme. Some great names in music, comedy, television and internet were guests on the show, such as Clarice Falcão, Gaveta, Letrux, Magal, Totoro, Mãolee, Julia Guerra, Vitória Kurihara and many others.
The channel has over 700,000 Instagram followers and 400,000 YouTube subscribers and have made partnership and ads for brands like Jameson, Johnnie Walker, Hering, Insider, AUVP, Dr. Jones and more.
// Roles
I worked on this project for about two years, helping in several areas. At first, I was hired to deal with the audio recording and treatment for the YouTube videos, which were based on video-podcasts format.
On the next phase, the project grew to include detailed reviews, explanations, game shows, drink recipes and more. I then took on roles as lighting and camera operator, becoming the overall in-site technical director.
Later, I also edited some videos for YouTube and Instagram, especially those with special guests and ads.
